Worship at Roscoe United Methodist Church
8:30 a.m. Aldersgate Worship Service
This service is traditional but casual. We use the United Methodist Hymnal and the organ. The Chancel Choir provides special music most Sundays but are joined by other groups on occasion. "Aldersgate" is traditionally understood as the place where John Wesley had his "heart-warming" experience.
10:00 a.m. Newsong Worship Service
This service is contemporary in style. Praise choruses and contemporary Christian music are used at this service. Our "Steps of Faith" band leads the congregation in worship. Words of the songs are projected on a screen. There is expanded use of multi-media in this service.
11:11 a.m. Reconnect Worship Service
This service was designed for those who were once connected to a church, but are no longer active in a worshipping community. Each Sunday begins with singing a few familiar hymns. The service ends with an opportunity for the congregation to ask questions about the morning's message.
