SENIOR MINISTRIES
SENIORS BREAKFAST
Senior citizens meet for breakfast on the first Thursday of each month at Hawksview Restaurant, 11189 Forest Hills Road. Anyone wishing to join them should meet at the restaurant at 8:30 a.m. Ask to be directed to the seniors from Roscoe United Methodist Church.
YOUNG @ HEART
On the second Wednesday of each month, senior citizens gather at 6:00 p.m. in Chapel Hall for a potluck dinner. All are welcome. Just bring a dish to share and your own table service. Access to Chapel Hall is from the Broad Street entrance. A program follows the dinner.
FOOD AND FELLOWSHIP
On the third Thursday of each month there is a luncheon for senior citizens in Chapel Hall at noon. A free will offering is taken to cover the cost of the catered meal. Following lunch, folks are invited to play Bingo, card games or just spend time visiting with each other.
HEALTH CHECK
On the fourth Sunday of each month, a Health Check is held in Chapel Hall from 9:30-10:00 a.m. Nurses from our congregation are available to take blood pressure, measure glucose levels and answer questions about medicines.
