Monthly Health Checks
On the fourth Sunday of each month, nurses in the congregation volunteer to monitor blood pressure and blood glucose levels for those interested. These health checks take place from 9:30-10:00 a.m. in Chapel Hall.
Grief Support Group:
A new grief support group is now meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings, in the church library. If you have experienced loss – through death, loss of job, etc. this group can help you on your journey to healing and wholeness.
Divorce Recovery Support Group:
Please call the church office (815-623-2292) for information about the next support group for divorce recovery.
Transportation Ministry
Transportation Ministry is supported by several volunteers who offer to provide transportation to those unable to drive, whether temporarily or permanently.
Valet Parking 
Valets are available to park cars for those with walking difficulties (whether it be a cast, a cane or a wheelchair), or young women who are pregnant or carrying infants. Valets are on duty for both the Aldersgate and Reconnect Worship Services. Please drive your car to the west entrance of the church and look for one of the volunteers, who will be wearing a bright orange safety vest.
